FAYETTEVILLE (UARK) — Sadly, the biggest and most talked about story this past week was the mass school shooting in Parkland, Florida. The Columbia Journalism Review looks at what journalists should be writing about after the shooting.

The Poynter Institute’s senior faculty for broadcasting and online writer Al Tompkins looked at the Florida high school shooting from the perspective of the graphic video and images that emerged via social media. How does ethics impact editorial decisions, if at all?  “How graphic is too graphic when covering Florida high school shooting?”
