This year has been monumental for the Center for Media Ethics and Literacy. With a fresh name that better reflects our mission, we’ve expanded our outreach and impact in meaningful ways.
Here’s what we accomplished together:
- Engaging Guest Speakers: We hosted 21 guests, from seasoned journalists to media experts, who shared their insights on pressing media ethics challenges.
- Student Impact: Over 600 students across disciplines engaged with our events, gaining valuable perspectives on media ethics and its importance in today’s fast-paced information environment.
- Raising Awareness: We brought critical media ethics issues to light, encouraging conversations about truth, bias and the responsibilities of media professionals.
Whether it was our roundtable discussions, workshops, or interactive sessions, each event aimed to equip students and the community with tools to navigate and uphold ethical standards in media.
