The Minneapolis Star-Tribune removed a column written by an employee which criticized a TV journalist for wearing skinny jeans during her report, Poynter reported.

The Washington Post reminded employees of their Standards & Ethics policies on political activism and behavior on social media after reporter Dave Weigel tweeted about Florida congressional candidate Dan Bongingo, calling him a “lying, pathetic loser,” Poynter reported.

Poynter reported the Associated Press deleted a 2-week old Clinton tweet. According to the story, John Daniszewski, the AP’s vice president for standards “announced new guidelines that require the removal of tweets deemed to contain ‘information that is incorrect, misleading, unclear or could be interpreted as unfair, or having a problem in tone.'”
