Journalism Ethics Summit Will Cover Reporting on Race and Gender

The event titled “Covering Race and Gender in the New Millennium” will begin at 2 p.m. Sept. 27 in Giffels Auditorium located in Old Main on the University of Arkansas campus. The panel will feature Jesse Holland, the visiting distinguished professor of journalism ethics; history chair, Calvin White, who is also affiliated faculty in African and African American studies; and Lisa Corrigan, director of gender studies. Christi Welter, of the Center for Ethics in Journalism, will moderate the panel.
